Assistant Professional Job Advert
We require a motivated Assistant Professional to complement our enthusiastic team at Elie Links. The excellent facilities boast an 18 hole historic links golf course, host to this year’s Scottish Women’s Amateur Championship, Sports Club 9 hole course, Driving range and fitting studio, short game area, 18 hole Putting Green, 9 Tennis courts and other sports facilities.
Your role will be to assist in the management and running of the of the Sports Club facilities, Starting on the 1st tee of the 18 hole Elie links course, carry out Junior Group coaching during all school holidays and retail in our large Professional Shop.
You will be expected to:
- Work as part of a team to provide the best customer service levels possible
- Act professionally at all times
- Deal with member and visitor enquiries and report back to Senior Staff with issues
- Be an excellent communicator
- Be organised and have excellent time management skills
- Be willing to learn and develop your career under the guidance of an experienced advanced PGA professional
- Show initiative in challenging situations
The training and environment provided at Elie gives a unique base to develop a skill set towards a future career in golf. Experience will be gained in working both within a very traditional members club environment as well as a much more casual and vibrant holiday sports club environment.
Attractive package available with excellent earning potential. The package will consist of a basic retainer plus guaranteed additional lesson fees for Junior group Coaching during school holidays. Private lessons revenue will also be available as you progress through your training.
